Qualtrics is an online survey tool you can use to build and distribute surveys, collect responses, and even analyse response data – all from within the same platform.

Qualtrics Insight Platform is licensed to Monash University entities only. If you’re using Qualtrics for research, make sure you select the best service for your needs by checking the Qualtrics Plus page.

This survey tool is available to students and staff for use on personal and Monash devices.

Access Qualtrics

Two versions are available: Monash Qualtrics (to support research, learning and teaching activities) and MonashInsights (to support operational or administrative projects).

The version you’ll have access to depends on whether you’re an academic staff member or student, or operational/administrative staff member.

Surveys for learning, teaching or research

If you’re a staff member involved in learning, teaching and research, or a student, you’ll use the Monash Qualtrics platform.

Log into Monash Qualtrics

If you need to use Qualtrics for non-academic purposes, you’ll need to contact eSolutions Service Desk to request access to MonashInsights.

Surveys for operations and administration

If you’re creating surveys for operational, administration or prospective student engagement purposes, you’ll use the MonashInsights Qualtrics platform.

Log into MonashInsights Qualtrics

If you don’t have an account already set up, you’ll need to request one by contacting the eSolutions Service Desk. You’ll also need to contact Service Desk if you require access to Monash Qualtrics for academic purposes.

MonashInsights works on a pay-per-response model. For more details, see using Qualtrics.

Staff not licensed for Qualtrics

Staff members associated with independently-operated entities affiliated with Monash Australia are not licensed to use the Qualtrics Insight platform. These include:

• Monash College
• IIE MSA (South Africa)
• Indian Institute of Technology Bombay – Monash Research Academy
• Hudson Institute.

Existing Qualtrics non-enterprise licences

eSolutions has identified a list of faculties that have previously purchased their own Qualtrics licences. The faculties are:

• Faculty of Business and Economics (Monash Business School)
• Faculty of Education
• Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

Help and support

Support is offered directly by Qualtrics – you can login to the Customer Success Hub with your Qualtrics login details and request assistance from the Qualtrics Support team at any time.

The Qualtrics Academic Support Portal also gives you access to the online user community and a variety of support pages.

If you have issues logging in or creating an account, this limited version of the Customer Success Hub allows you to submit a request for help with access issues.
