Somewhere to live

More than just a room

On-campus accommodation offers community, diversity, friendships, support and safety:

  • Clayton campus offers a range of accommodation options, including Halls of Residence, shared flats and studio apartments.
  • Our Peninsula Residential Village provides shared flats and studio apartments.
  • Caulfield students may choose to live on-campus at Clayton and catch the free shuttle bus to Caulfield.

On-campus accommodation

Looking for somewhere to stay? Check out Peninsula campus

There are still places left at Peninsula Residential Village. The village offers a welcoming place to call home through shared flats and houses. You’ll enjoy a private bedroom, shared kitchen, lounge, and bathroom – all fully furnished for an easy move-in.

You’ll also have access to social spaces in Gillies Hall, including a common room, games room and several lounges where you can relax and make new friends.

All you have to do is apply to live on campus.

Renting off-campus

You can choose a place from one of our preferred student accommodation providers, or decide to check out the private rental market (either renting a room, house or apartment, with others or on your own).

Temporary accommodation

You should always inspect a long-term property before signing an agreement or paying upfront.

Booking some temporary accommodation allows you some time to find something longer term.

See our list of private providers who offer discounted rates to Monash students, their families and visitors. Contact the provider directly to make a booking. You're not obliged to use any of these providers – this listing is for your information only.
