Orientation marks the official start to the semester for new students. It is designed to help you settle into university and prepare you for the start of classes. Take the opportunity to find out about the different teaching and learning processes of the university, familiarise yourself with your new surroundings, learn more about your course and get to know the Faculty of Law and other new students.

Orientation week (O'Week) marks the official start to the semester. The Faculty of Law organises a series of activities to help law undergraduates settle into university life. More information about O'Week, please review the section on Orientation resources.
You are required to attend the orientation session held at the Monash Law Chambers located at 555 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. Details of the orientation sessions are as follows:
Trimester 1: 8 January 2019
Trimester 2: 30 April 2019
Trimester 3: 20 August 2019
Time: 9.00am- 5.00pm
Students, who have accepted their offer will receive an invitation to attend the orientation session.
You will be notified by the Postgraduate Law Student Services Office whether you need to attend an orientation session.
