The Vice-Chancellor's Ancora Imparo Student Leadership Program

The Ancora Imparo Student Leadership Program is a flagship program of Monash University that, we hope, will bring long-standing benefit to the community. The aim of the Ancora Imparo program is to provide students with an understanding of the visionary and inspirational principles that guide current leaders and have guided leaders in the past.  The program involves theoretical and case study components, discussions, debates and seminars, as well as the study of classics that deal with the theme of leadership.

The Program is very selective and directed towards the most promising Monash students – young people with excellent potential who, we anticipate, may be among the leaders of the future.  Only forty first year students are chosen.  These students attend a three-day residential course in February followed by eight monthly seminars throughout the year.
