2023 was another busy year at the Monash University Archives, with many accessions, projects and other activities. Read on to find out what we got up to last year.

After two years of lockdowns and working from home, the Monash University Archives team were back in the office for a big year in 2022. We received and processed a number of significant accessions and worked on many exciting projects throughout the

Monash University Annual Reports from 1961-2000 have been digitised and are now available online

Handbooks from Monash University from 1980-1994 are now digitised and freely available online. This also includes handbooks from this period from the University's amalgamation partners and predecessor institutions.

The Archives are excited to announce that some of our audio-visual collection is now publicly available online. We have been working hard to get material digitised from film reels and to upload it to YouTube for all to enjoy.

Newly added to our online collection of publications is Sound. As the ‘official broadsheet of Monash University’, Sound circulated convenient and reliable news and information from 1970 to 1990
