Intensive and Semester Length Language Programs
COVID 19 Update
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to significantly impact the health and economies of communities around the world, and to restrict the travel, movement and social interactions of people everywhere. Although travel restrictions have affected 2020 programs, short-term study abroad programs are under consideration for 2021.
While study abroad might seem impossible right now, it’s important to remember that the travel restrictions and health precautions imposed as a result of COVID-19 will not be permanent. We fully anticipate these programs will be able to resume when global health and travel advice safely allow it.
We will continue to keep you updated on 2021 short-term programs via the Monash Abroad Portal. You can read more about the University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic here.
Studying overseas as part of your language major is a great way to immerse yourself in your chosen language and culture.
Monash Arts offers a variety of faculty led and endorsed language programs available to language students for credit!
