The 2026 Popular Music Audition Preparation Short Course is a one-day course for popular music instrumentalists and vocalists. This course will focus on the knowledge and skills required to audition for the Bachelor of Music at Monash, and also broaden your understanding of the Popular Music specialisation. We encourage both mature-age students and students currently studying years 11 -12 to apply.

Remote applicants (regional, interstate and international) or those unable to make the in-person session, will be able to view the morning session (AEST) via Zoom. This will encompass the main information workshop in the morning, immediately followed by a brief Q&A (for online participants only) with one of the staff members. The afternoon session, which incorporates performances and small group sessions, will not be available on Zoom. Please ensure to register and select the applicable option.
