Principles for Responsible Management Education

Monash Business School is a proud signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

PRME is a United Nations-approved initiative founded in 2007 that aims to raise the profile of sustainability in business school classrooms through Seven Principles focused on serving society and safeguarding our planet.

Monash Business School's Strategic PRME Lead

Strategic responsibility and direction for PRME sits with Professor Simon Wilkie, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics and Head of Monash Business School. Day-to-day responsibility is delegated to Professor Carla Wilkin, Deputy Dean Accreditation and International, who is the strategic lead for PRME at Monash Business School.

Our PRME ambassadors are appointed due to their extensive involvement in this area and their commitment to advancing sustainability-focused education, research, practice and engagement across the business school.

Our student representatives

Effective from 2025, we have created the new role of PRME Student Representative. These students will assist with two-way communication between Monash Business School students and staff regarding related issues.
