Design and Build Studios
The Monash Makerspace Design and Build Studios support undergraduate teaching by providing a hands-on space for prototyping and fabrication. Equipped with an array of 3D printers, woodworking tools, welding stations, textile machines, and more, these studios facilitate a wide range of engineering design projects.
Access
- Once inducted, the studios are available during staffed opening hours to all current engineering students and staff.
- Availability may be limited for general access when large scheduled classes are running.
- The general local area induction is done in-person and covers studio safety, basic hand and power tool use and introduces users to 3d printing.
- These induction sessions run regularly and you can register for a session here. Allow three hours for this induction.
