The Fabrication Studio is centred around an open plan workbench area for general assembly and light manufacturing.

Access

• This area is only available during Makerspace staffed opening hours - weekdays between 8am - 6pm
• Makerspace manufacturing areas are closed in the evenings, on university public holidays and over the weekends

• Personal protective equipment
• Formech Compac Mini A4 size vacuum forming machine
• Formech 686 600x600mm size vacuum forming machine
• Epilog Pro48 laser cutters - Suitable for cutting acrylic and wood board
• Wazer Desktop CNC waterjet cutter -  Can cut metal, stone, glass, ceramic, composite, plastic, rubber etc.
• Okuma Genos M460V - 5 axis CNC machining centre
