Cutting and Grinding Bay

A dedicated cutting, grinding and general assembly area for student project work.

Prerequisite training

Makerspace Project Studios General Induction.

Access

  • You must attend and complete the Makerspace Light Fabrication Bay induction and skills training session to gain approval to work in this area as this training also the covers Cutting & Grinding Bay.
  • This area is only available during Makerspace staffed opening hours - weekdays between 8am - 6pm.
  • Makerspace manufacturing areas are closed in the evenings, on university public holidays and over the weekends.
