CNC Machining Bay

Our fleet of student accessible computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, enables the precise and repeatable production of complex components.

Prerequisite training

  • Makerspace Project Studios General Induction
  • Chisholm Tafe Industry Skills Course - This is a bespoke program run specifically for Monash Engineering students, please contact us for more information.
  • Makerspace Manual Machining Bay area induction & skills training.

Access

  • This area is only available during Makerspace staffed opening hours - weekdays between 8am - 6pm.
  • Makerspace manufacturing areas are closed in the evenings, on university public holidays and over the weekends.
  • We run equipment specific training in small groups on each of our CNC machines for suitably experienced student team members. Please speak to Makerspace staff for more information.
