Rapid Prototyping Studio

The Rapid Prototyping Studio is home to an impressive array of 3D printing technology, with the capacity to tailor machine choice to suit material, print time, detail level and part size.

Prerequisite training

Makerspace Design & Build Studios General Induction.

Access

  • Prusa 3D printers use is covered during the general induction. Please see studios staff for training on the other machines in this space.
  • This area is only available during Makerspace staffed opening hours - weekdays between 8am - 6pm
  • Makerspace manufacturing areas are closed in the evenings, on university public holidays and over the weekends
  • Some print materials need to be pre-purchased by users through shop.monash.
