Past student and alumni accounts
When you finish your studies or discontinue from your course, we’ll email you to advise that you will:
- be restricted from accessing the internet when you're on campus
- lose access to the Student Portal after 12 weeks.
During the 12-week period
It’s useful to use this time to:
- get your results through the Web Enrolment System (WES) and keep your contact details up to date
- save your important files – any remaining on Monash computers after this time will be deleted
- continue to access the portal, your Monash email, WES, student work stations, and the wireless network.
After the 12-week period
12 weeks after leaving Monash, you will:
- continue to have limited access to WES (as an alumni student), and get transcripts and letters, apply for graduation and change your address
- have access to your Monash student email account, ePortfolio (Mahara) and any associated Google products like Google Drive, for 12 months after you finish your course
- no longer have access to Moodle, your Monash computer accounts, the VPN, and any files on our network (excluding those on your Google Drive).
