Director, Capital Financing, Jarrod Holmes leads the team responsible for managing the Monash University’s credit rating, capital allocation strategies and capital raising. The team has a specialised focus on the University’s ongoing financial performance and ability to optimise the use of capital to invest in campus infrastructure and assets. The team also manages initiatives of significant strategic importance across the University requiring innovative funding and procurement of major University assets.
Jarrod joined Monash University as the Director, Capital Financing in February 2019. He has extensive local and international experience in financial services and a wide range of industries. Jarrod has specialised in Financial Modelling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Transformation and infrastructure finance at organisations including Ernst & Young, Deloitte, United Energy, Balfour Beatty Investments and Lend Lease.
Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Monash University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
