Finance Operations has responsibility for overseeing the delivery of high-quality technical services and managing the operations of the various financial applications used by the university.
The group also performs a range of significant and complex technical activities that play a critical role in supporting the governance and delivery of program outcomes. This includes developing operating procedures, data analysis and computing, overseeing and undertaking system testing and maintenance,
Finance Operations has responsibility for the efficient and timely management of critical transactional expenditures and revenues across the University. This includes overseeing the purchasing and payment for goods & services, accounts payable, travel, expense management, purchasing support (including the management of five laboratory inventory stores across multiple campuses), corporate debt collection and management, bank reconciliations and cashiering services.
