As Director, Finance Strategy & Transformation, Vibo Chandrasekera and his team support the development of a financial strategy for the Monash Group in consultation with key stakeholders and committees, and the development, embedding and communication of processes and governance on Finance Strategy & Transformation activities.
The Finance Strategy & Transformation team supports the cross-functional delivery of transformation initiatives that improve value, customer experience and efficiencies across Finance services.
Prior to commencing at Monash University in 2024, Vibo held the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at The Australian National University from July 2021. He holds over 24 years of professional experience and is a strategic senior finance leader with proven expertise in developing and executing finance strategy, transformation roadmaps, and execution of effective and lasting transformation programs. Vibo is outcome-focused and passionate about developing high-performing business functions across geographical locations and culturally diverse teams.
Vibo holds a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie University Business School, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Certified Practising Accountant qualification from CPA Australia.
