As Executive Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, Sophie leads the team responsible for Monash’s financial management framework. Her remit spans all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including the implementation of best-practice approaches to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and research and revenue reporting.
Sophie joined Monash in 2026, bringing a broad range of local and international experience. She has worked as a Finance Consultant in External Relations and Corporate Development at Superloop and led the forecasting and performance insights function at NBN Co. Her earlier career includes senior roles at National Australia Bank and Ernst & Young. She has deep expertise in IFRS and has led large-scale planning and reporting functions across both operational and commercial environments.
Sophie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from La Trobe University and is a Chartered Accountant accredited by CA ANZ for over 20 years.
