Priscila holds a PhD in IT with a specialisation in AI and a Master’s in Data Science from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). Her research focuses on causal inference methods for policy evaluation, utilising AI and machine learning models for time series forecasting—a field that intersects econometric/statistical theory and machine learning techniques.

She currently leads the Centre of Excellence in AI at the National Treasury of Brazil. Priscila has extensive experience in AI and machine learning modelling, data science, finance, and banking, with expertise in credit risk modelling and management, financial markets, microeconomics (credit markets, insurance, capital markets, private pension funds, policy regulation), compliance, management information systems (MIS), project management, and economic research.
