Access the S:Drive on macOS

Before trying to access the shared drive, make sure you have access permission from the folder's owner. If you don't know who this is, please contact the Service Desk.

1. If you're not on-campus, make sure you’re connected to the Monash VPN.
2. Open Finder.
3. Open the Go menu from the top navigation bar and click Connect to Server (or hit Command+K).

   

4. Type in the server address smb://ad.monash.edu/shared then click Connect.

   

5. Enter your Monash username and password into the pop-up box and click OK.
