Welcome to Monash University! Here's an IT checklist to get you set up for the semester.

1. Install multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your smartphone and generate your MFA back-up codes. You'll need MFA to access your student accounts.
2. Register for our self-service password reset tool – you'll thank us later!
3. Connect to eduroam wi-fi. Eduroam is our secure wireless network, available across all Australian campuses.
4. Explore the Student Portal. Your digital home at Monash, where you can check your schedule, stay up to date with upcoming events and access the systems you’ll need for your studies.
5. Get to know Moodle – this is where you’ll find all your curriculum details, unit activities, assessments, quizzes, grades and more.
6. Browse the Software Catalogue. As a student, you can get free and discounted software like Office 365 on your device.
7. Get started with Google. At Monash, we use Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive and Sites.
