Victor is a registered architect in Chile, where he worked as a project architect in the social housing construction industry. His research focuses on the intersection of industrialised construction, environmental performance assessment, ICTs and design computing.

Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Future Building Initiative (FBI) Lab, Faculty of Art Design & Architecture and Faculty of Engineering, Monash University. His research focuses on the intersection between digital technologies and environmental performance analysis, mostly through the development of computational tools and methods for life cycle assessment of residential buildings. He holds a PhD in Architectural Science and Technology and an MPhil in Design Computing at The University of Melbourne. Victor is a registered architect in Chile and has years of experience as a project architect in the low-income housing construction industry. Between 2017 and 2019, he was a FONDECYT Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Urban Development (CEDEUS), Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
