Health and human experience
Monash Art, Design and Architecture researchers investigate how health practices and environments affect people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and ask how things might be done differently.
Taking an integrated approach to human health, we work closely with clinical and allied healthcare professionals, governments, technology providers, organisations, patients and carers to create safer, more efficient and more comfortable environments and systems. The scalability of our interdisciplinary research networks at Monash University enables us to work at the level of the individual, institution or whole community.
From transforming health outcomes in informal settlements to making medtech devices more user-friendly, our people-centred solutions are changing the design, delivery and accessibility of good health.
