Experienced researcher with a PhD focused on the environmental assessment of circular economy. He holds a master's degree in Construction Management and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. His record of excellence has earned him numerous awards, including the Graham Treloar research prize, the ASA Conference 2022 highly commended student paper, the research dissemination prize, a partial scholarship for his master's, and a full scholarship for his PhD. His work at the FBI lab focuses on generating robust environmental assessments for construction products, projects, and organisations, contributing to a more sustainable built environment. Santiago’s research areas of interest are project management, circular economy, environmental assessment, and BIM.
