Monash Design students and staff amaze at the Australian Graphic Design Association Awards

Monash Design staff, students and alumni projects have been recognised at the 2022 Australian Graphic Design Association Awards (AGDA).

The AGDA Design Awards recognise the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines every year. The aim of the awards is to further the discussion about design and to stimulate the creative progress of the design industry.

Head of Design, Associate Professor Gene Bawden felt that the recent AGDA Awards represented significant national peer recognition for the work of Monash Design staff, students and alumni.

“AGDA is the peak body for Communication Design in the country, and their awards are carefully reviewed and selected. Securing these awards demonstrates the talent that is being nurtured within and now outside the university through the Monash influence,” Gene said.

“Our students are fortunate to be taught by leading designers, and as such are now on their way to being leaders themselves.”
