By undertaking this unit you will be able to get a bit smarter about:

  • present and near future design and production processes
  • about AI (artificial /architectural/augmented intelligence)
  • new platforms and possibilities
  • the concepts and configurations of smart building and cities

The unit creates a "think tank" forum to explore and critically evaluate approaches, tools, terms, technologies, applications and implications.

Weekly assignments, activities, guest lectures and interactive discussions will build collective intelligence and culminate with a compilation of components and the articulation of positions on future practices.
