Meera Srikanth

Hi there! I’m Meera, and I am a communication designer with an interest in illustration and motion design. My style consists of predominantly vector illustrations that often adopt a minimalistic design approach through its use of colour, form and typography. That being said, I always strive to find creative ways to add subtle complexity within my designs. Below is a small selection of the work I have completed in my final semester of studying design at Monash, that highlight my interest in illustration, motion and packaging design.

This project showcases a series of graphic ephemera for the film, 'Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain'. The project centres around the character of the Father in the film, with the tea packaging designed to be used in scenes spent with his daughter, and the flower seed packaging designed to be used while he tends to his garden. The attributes of each ephemera, including colour and typography have been specifically designed so that each item fits seamlessly into the film’s overall design.

This project consists of a series of animated covers for the summer themed zine, SOMERO. For these designs, a minimalistic approach was utilised to best emulate the sense of warmth and relaxation often associated with a summer holiday.
