For my exhibition piece I came across a shop on Glenhuntly Road that specialises in making barcodes. The people in there were super friendly and Vin Elder, whom I interviewed in my publication, was super helpful in my research. He taught me how to read barcodes (we used the chocolate box I had brought as a thanks) and the history. But what really spiked my interest was when Vin mentioned a conspiracy theory that barcodes are the devils device. From my research I ended up making a supermarket, 'SATANSHOPS - Deals with the Devil - The Fatal Flaws of Creative Work.'
