I’m an industrial designer with a love for drawing. I work on both analog and digital platforms, though ultimately I prefer pen /pencil on paper. Growing up with comics and illustrations, I have always been amazed by how this medium can tell captivating stories. Nowadays I’m learning to apply the same principles in my work, and let my images speak for themselves.
In the design process I value visual communication, fresh ideas and critical thinking. These are achieved through constant practice and reflection. I search for things that people overlook.
I’m interested in all forms of creativity. In my free time (if that exists) you’d find me roam art galleries, exhibitions, markets, workshops, talks, events, absorbing the creative energy of the city. I always love a good long chat about everything art design too. My biggest sources of inspiration include art, science, films and life in general.
Project Description:
My Honours project addresses the lack of resources and awareness in wildlife rescue. Currently in Australia there is no supplier for specialised equipment. Meanwhile, wildlife carers are non-funded and ordinary citizens lack information on what to do when accidents happen.
Dash is a wildlife rescue stretcher designed for small to medium-sized joeys of Australian species such as kangaroo, koala and wombat.
