Benson (Pingche) Lee
I am an Industrial Design and Engineering student and have been working for that past few months on this project relating to car camping. The area was quite unfamiliar to me at the start but after some research I found out about that camping gears are targeted mostly for backpacking and portability is often the focus rather than comfort. Whilst on the other side of the spectrum such as glamping or RVs camping, camping gear is not used at all. As someone not as frequent of a camper I wanted to create ‘Chop & Go’ to fill the gap in the market, targeted at city people who occasionally look to experience nature using their personal vehicles. And has the luxury to carry more than just a dinner knife for all your cutting.
As a designer I can find most inspiration from creating things that I would personally want to own as a consumer.
