Can the Settlers’ Tools Unbuild The Settlers’ House addresses the current Race issue of White cultural dominance in Australia and its human impact on First Nations peoples. It is proposed that through both The Settlers Rest, a pedagogical program for children and The Little Less White Festival for Melbournes’ White cogniscente, that decolonisation of White minds can occur, allowing others to achieve their full potential. This process has been conceived through my own personal ongoing journey of decolonisation which has been generative in creating proposed spatial outcomes that work towards addressing historical racial injustices and current systemic racism.
