Tess Cheetham
Tess Cheetham is a Melbourne based MADA graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Art and Arts, Sociology and Gender studies. They show particular interest in gender/sexual politics and social navigation.
During their time at MADA Tess has been working with photographic and sculptural practises using casting, construction processes and archival materials. In 2018 Tess participated in a study tour to Prato, Italy where they worked with a collected archive to create sound, video and text-based works to challenge the relationship between the performer and the audience.
Tess' current practise uses the body to investigate the landscapes of personal navigation through the distortion and manipulation of bodily forms.
