Abby Kostecki

I’m Abby Kostecki, an American girl who found herself in Melbourne, Australia. I am passionate about the importance of play in our everyday life. My work aims to craft memorable experiences that users find delightful and engaging. Featured below are three of my favorite studio projects including my capstone project. Abby Kostecki, National Trust Doll House Exhibition Proposal

My capstone project was in collaboration with the National Trust on their exhibition, “Doll House: Miniature Worlds of Wonder.” The exhibition displays 35 doll houses from private collections that range from the 1880s to the present day. My project proposes a promotional application and a photo kiosk for the exhibition.

This application aims to promote the Doll House exhibition to future visitors. Users can buy tickets to the exhibition, view photo galleries of some featured doll houses, and book spots for special events.

The photo kiosk invites visitors to take a photo “inside” some of the exhibition's doll houses. Their photo can then be downloaded onto their phone by scanning a QR code. This project aims to increase visitors' engagement as they post their images to social media.

Abby Kostecki, Children Learning about Gardening with Grow with Me

Grow with Me is a subscription gardening app. This application teaches children how plants grow and how to care for them by following the weather and daily tasks.

A redesign of an energy tracking platform, Unicorn. Tracking energy usage is made easy for building owners and their tenets using Unicorn’s desktop dashboard and phone application.
