Arturo Martin, Maya XP
Maya UX is a project aiming to enhance the ancient Mayan civilization’s learning. From 6 years old kids to 99 years old adults, it promises to bring knowledge and an entertaining experience to all. App includes multidisciplinary content from forensic architecture, archeology, art curation, virtual reality, 3d scanning, and more. Discover the ancient Maya civilization via Tikal, one of the greatest ancient Maya cities in the Americas.
The vision is that it can be reproduced with other ancient civilizations as an educative tool for archeological studies. Features will include virtual reconstruction of principal buildings, walkthrough visits of the site, 3d models of art items with interactive tools, and mapping of moved out items; all aiming to spread awareness of the living Mayan culture and their contributions to the world among the younger generations.
Arturo Martin, Dashboard
The dashboard aims to enhance the experience of building management. The concept is inspired by the neumorphic style without being 100% neumorphic, most of all, it blends the 3D concept of neumosphism giving a little volume to the cards with a bit of a glassmorphism.
The movement of all the cards and the animation through the interaction of the app itself give a little of a high-tech look to the user experience; the navigation flows accordingly to the necessities of the user.
The color assets chosen are divided into 3 main categories: main, primary and secondary colors. The main category contains all the shades of black that were used for the background. The primary is formed by the true or false correspondence for task’s notifications (green and red). And the secondary colors are the three main data integrated for analysis, (lime, magenta and turquoise corresponding to AC, refrigeration and general energy).
Arturo Martin, The Loop Festival App
For this project the brief required to develop a high definition digital prototype that demonstrates how a user will book online, buy items and merchandise, explore the line-up and explore the art installations that would be exhibiting at the festival. The wireframe includes the landing page, the ticketing section, a festival home page, the shopping cart section, the camping booking, transportation arrangement, line-up section, and art installation section.
After 2 months of research (interviewing potential clients, developing personas, journey maps, scenarios, etc) and 2 other months of prototyping (card sorting, task analysis, moodboards, branding guidelines, paper prototyping, etc) I have came with the concept for the User Interface with a ancient greece sculptures vs a contemporary interventions aesthetic; fusing a neumorphic concept featuring modern intervened sculptures from different artist around the globe. This would allow the user to gain interest not only in the music festival itself but in contemporary art; promoting live music and contemporary artist’s installations in the same app.
