I am passionate in Media and Design. I have watched a lot of films when I was a child as my father is a big fan of films including biography, natural documentary and animation, which helps me to develop a great interest in multimedia and attracts me to study further in the multimedia field. When I am struggling in doing a project or an assignment, my father could always provide me some efficient advices and help me to adjust mentality. He has continuously pushed my abilities, taken on stretch assignments, and made the most out of every role they’ve fulfilled.
Intercultural communication is one of my strength: I have been Japan, Korean many times, and studied in Singapore, as I am really attracted by their culture and invited by my local friends. I have met a lot traditional customs and architecture during the trip which could help me to come up with a lot of intercultural inspiration during designing.
I have actively participated in variety of volunteering activities both inside and outside the school as a member of Team MONASH support crew. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing painting, as well as experimenting with new art forms. I also enjoy dancing, playing the piano, socialising with friends.

Guest room tablets allow hoteliers to decrease the amount of friction between a hotel’s staff and services and it’s guests delivering increased satisfaction and unleashing new revenue opportunities. It is a digital replacement for expensive and difficult to clean print compendiums and collateral, hotel smart chess tablets offer guests contactless access to room services, meal delivery, flight information, room control system, and more. It can solving the problem of language barrier between staff and guests. Because of the epidemic, need to reduce face-to-face interaction between staff and guests.
Through the in-room tablets, guests have direct digital access to hotel staff and the ability to place in-room dining orders, make reservations on-site and off property, submit service requests, control room environment, and much more. It is much more convenient for hotel guests, they don’t have to make a phone call or go to service desk to ask any request.
This interactive guest room entertainment system benefits everyone: it provides the hotel with a powerful and efficient marketing tool for direct communication and the guests for a simple and quick solution for them in-room use.

I chose avocado as the main element of my design is because whenever I think of the “freshness”. The small shops selling vegetables and fruits in the market will immediately appear in my mind. And there are many rows of fresh giant avocados on the stall.
Therefore, in this design work, I used avocado instead of clouds to show different weather conditions. I hope it can bring a feeling of freshness to users. I also drew some fruit and market related elements. The Queen Victoria Market and the map of Australia.
Real-time temperature, humidity, pressure, wind force and wind direction are all in this weather app based. It has modern UI design and easy to use. An option to manually add your location. Hourly daily weather forecast. Sunset and Sunrise times. Automatically detects your location. Global, you can see weather in any places you like, current weather condition without needing to add manually. Chart graphs for hourly daily weather forecast and daily daily weather forecast.

Smart phone application (for tenants)
Helping you reduce the amount of electricity you need to purchase. Allowing you to monitor and visualise your energy use in real time and see where you are consuming it.
For the design of mobile page, I mainly emphasize the user, bill, temperature and energy consumption. I mainly design the part of date filtering, so users (tenants) can easily check the energy consumption of the time they want to know and quickly compare those data. I also added a carbon footprint saved section, which allows users to observe and save energy consumption, but also pay attention to environmental problems and their own impacts and changes.
I made four 3D elements to represent different energy consuming. I created them in four different shapes, round, fan, snow- flake and zigzag polygons. So they can represent the total energy consumption, air conditioner, refrigeration and other respectively. I created a 3D Shopping Mall – Senja Mall and recreated a 3D shopping map. I added the Senja Mall logo on the door of the 3D building. I also make all of 3D elements in the same angle. When the user hovers the mouse over these graphics, the images can be zoomed in so the user can see them more clearly.
