Liuyi Zhang, The better solution of planning a music festival
The original intention of this music festival APP is to allow people to save time for searching information and planning activities, and to enjoy a music festival more fully. It provides users with a "planning" function. The APP will provide users with a variety of "music festival journey plans", such as what to eat, what to play, how to get there, and accommodation. The user only needs to add the plan to the "calendar" with one click, and the itinerary is arranged. On the day of the music festival, users only need to follow the "plan" to play the music festival.
Liuyi Zhang, Unicorn Dashboard Design - For manager
In this project, we were asked to improve the design of the Unicorn’s own dashboard. The dashboard not only needs to meet the requirements of the "Senja Mall" building managers to use the tablet port, but also needs to design a mobile APP port specifically for the tenants themselves.
In the process of researching user psychology, I considered that it is most important for building managers to monitor and find abnormal use of a certain household appliance in time. Because sometimes this can avoid some fires or other complications. Therefore, in the homepage, the real-time electricity consumption of each tenant is displayed in the form of a 3D histogram. And when there is an abnormal power usage, the APP will issue a warning to the administrator.
Liuyi Zhang, Weather forecast solutions for outdoor enthusiasts-APP
Conceived around "durability", a weather app dedicated to serving outdoor activity enthusiasts. The homepage uses a 3D low-poly style to visually display the current weather conditions at the location. All possible weather disasters will be estimated and displayed on the side of the main screen. With the use of smart watches, when a natural disaster is about to occur, it will warn the user.
Liuyi Zhang, Monash Library - Asian Ghost Story AR Portal
Ghost stories are sometimes a good start to ignite an interest in an unfamiliar culture. At the invitation of the Monash Library, my team and I designed an AR portal for Asian ghost stories. From this AR portal, users can enter the AR ghost story boards of four Asian countries: China, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia. As a gateway, we must play up the atmosphere of "ghost stories" while combining the cultures of the four countries.
