Meng-Lun Chan, Unicorn Energy monitoring dashboard
This project is one of the fun assignments in the Master course.
We designed a dashboard for an energy monitoring/ analysing company called Unicorn, whose major client is the shopping mall's manager.
Yet, the secondary TA is tanners of the shopping mall to trace the energy consumption.
I use the minimalist style to make the dashboard look clean and easy to read, with the adjustable alert line to notify users the usage might reach the maximum usage they have been setting.
Meng-Lun Chan, LiXia Music Festival Application
This project was the first project from my major studio, and I love it from my heart.
I use the solar term from the traditional Chinese calendar to named this music festival as the festival's time is in the day in what we call LiXia in Chinese culture.
Moreover, the using retro aesthetic style emphasises the theme of this festival: the 80's EDM concert.
Meng-Lun Chan, Xenial - the future phone
This project was one of my favourite assignments to design a new conceptual smartphone that features possible future technology.
I designed a "Xenial" that produced by a company called "Geniii". This phone makes communication into the new chapter due to various inventive functions. Users can connect the others without any space and dimensions limitation. After setting up correctly, the two devices platform Xenially to associate the users’ daily life.

Meng-Lun Chan, my object
Definitely, the fascinating project that I enjoy most in the whole course. We were developing divergent thinking by the object we curry on from motherland to Australia. By defining what is our object to creating the unique Alphabet and packages for the object. I love it as this is the only project we have that we design, make and produce in the real world. This gave me profound satisfaction.
Meng-Lun Chan, Architect Melnikov's House - Era type poster
I would like to introduce my first project from the Master course. It’s called "Era Type Poster". I picked up one of the modern art & design movements that I am unfamiliar with: Constructivism. The building I illustrated is "Architect Melnikov House" with a Russian introduction about this building.
