Xinyu Zhou

Hello, everyone, I’m Xinyu Zhou, you can call me Miranda. I am a Chinese student who will graduate from Monash University with a master's degree in interaction design. Through my course study, I learned a lot about design skills and knowledge. This knowledge helps me to complete and design my own style of design work independently. I have two years of learning experience in interactive design and many years of painting experience. Through my two-year study experience and social practice experience, I have accumulated a lot of experience in design projects and teamwork ability, and mastered the application of various design software.

I have great enthusiasm for art design, and hope to be an excellent UI/UX designer in the future.

Xinyu Zhou, JNBY App 01 (Group Work)

This project is a promotional App designed by Xinyi Zhou and me for the JNBY clothing brand. This app provides different promotions and services of JNBY, you can win rewards and free gifts by experiencing our promotional campaign. We collaborate with Chinese traditional clothing to design our packaging, customers can play our funny games and learn about Chinese fashion history at the same time!

Xinyu Zhou, JNBY App 02 (Group Work)

In the packaging design of JNBY, customers can not only know more about Chinese traditional costume culture, but also have a chance to win a free Mysterious Gift Box.

For our competitors in the market, most of them just have some basic online shopping functions. Over half of them ignore clients’ interactive experiences on their apps.

Therefore, our JNBY promotion app wants to give consumers’ deeply impression on their mind. We use simple and irregular pattern elements as our design materials in the UI design of App, in order to highlight the characteristics of JNBY brand clothing, and it is easy for users to understand the brand’s culture direction when they use an unfamiliar application for the first time.

Xinyu Zhou, Mini Museum

This project is a small exhibition for coffee cups. Design a mini museum for collecting valuable coffee cups. Its design is inspired by the coffee culture in Melbourne, where coffee is an indispensable part of life, and every coffee shop has its own coffee cup with a unique design. Therefore, coffee cups with different designs are worth collecting and commemorating. This mini exhibition is convenient to put in any place, and it is very suitable for home decoration. The exhibition stand of the museum is portable and environmentally friendly. The design style is morden, the appearance is simple and beautiful, each coffee cup has its own characteristics, and the collected coffee cups have different styles. And this exhibition has digital interaction to attract visitors. We designed an app for visitors to view our exhibition online as well. The whole museum is achieved by 3d modeling. The materials of the exhibition stand of the small museum are made of foldable paper cards. The types of coffee cups in each collection are different and their respective designs have their own characteristics. There will be a small card in the small museum, and there will be a QR

Code on the card surface. When you scan it with your mobile phone, you will see all the characteristics of each coffee cup and suggestions on which occasion each coffee cup is suitable for use. Experience the real AR effect of the exhibits, scan the QR Code given, and experience the mini–Coffee Cup Museum in Aero software.

Xinyu Zhou, Music App

This App is designed for people who like pop music. This App can help users quickly find the latest pop music information and buy tickets for pop music festivals. This app also has the function of searching for food and traffic conditions near the music festival, which will bring a a lot of convenience for users to participate in the music festival.The design idea is to let more users like and understand pop music, and let more people participate in music festivals. At the same time, apps can help solve traffic problems and dining problems that users will encounter when attending music festivals.

Xinyu Zhou, Weather App

The theme of this project is fresh.This app introduces different formulas of healthy milk tea according to weather and temperature, and its main customers are those who like to drink milk tea or tea users. The design is inspired by Modern China Tea Shop, a Chinese brand of milk tea. Different seasons and climates are matched with different formulas of healthy milk tea.This weather app can provide a good opportunity for milk tea merchants to recommend new products, and different healthy milk teas will be recommended in different weather conditions. Users will also learn the collocation of health milk tea and related health knowledge while using the app.
