Harsha Dunuji Shivanand, The Uno Talk
This was created with the intention of triggering conversation around jobs. There might be so many different kinds of jobs, some we might not even know of. We can share experiences, positive or negative and this gives a great opportunity to open up about negatives that is happening and many more. By using the power cards as prompts during gameplay, we can have a hold on the game and discussion.
Harsha Dunuji Shivanand, RecommendApption
This app gives suggestions to watch movies and recommends a dish to eat, which is done keeping the weather as the base. Ex: If it’s Raining - Romantic movie with some Hot soup or for a Bright day - some Ice cream to go with your favorite Comedy movie. As this is a suggestion app and, as it was created during the pandemic, there are notifications about local COVID rules.
Harsha Dunuji Shivanand, Edu-Venture, An activity Kit
Edu-venture is an activity kit for kids. Main focus of this project is to help kids reduce their screen time and to increase their playtime! In this project I have designed an activity kit using adventure as the theme and in this the kid gets to colour the stickers and place them on the scene, it has a new method of colouring and it can be reused/ recreated using things available at home.
Additionally, after completion of the activity, there is an option to take a picture from our app, which lets kids get access to their favorite shows as part of a reward. And the timer is pre-set by the parents. App basically works as a lock screen.
Harsha Dunuji Shivanand, Digital Student ID
aAs the use of physical cards are reducing day by day, we tend to forget even the cards we have to carry. Student ID is one similar thing. It becomes a mess to access classrooms and buildings if we forget our card. So this is a prototype of the concept to have the Student ID within the My Monash app and give access using the NFC feature, NFC hardware is present in almost 90% of the phones. It also helps reduce the amount of plastic used for cards. We all know, no matter what we forget we almost always have our phone in our hand.
