I'm Cecilia, a user experience designer based in Shenzhen. I have the foundation of Advertisement Design and during my studies in Monash, I further learned about Interaction Design. I am always eager to explore the nature of things. By applying problem-solving skills to social and business issues, I believe I could make the world better through design one day. While thinking big, I start from small projects.

Cecilia Xu, Starbucks User Experience Redesign

This project is designed to enhance Starbucks membership and the digital user experience across devices. We were a student program that consist of 3 UI/UX designers. To describe the ideal product in our minds, we explored multiple forms of interaction and tried to design interesting operational activities.

Cecilia Xu, Workout with me APP

Workout with me is a female-oriented fitness app for beginners, it offers classes with virtual fitness trainers and helps keep track of daily meals. It is designed for helping females to form exercise habits and be more confident. This project was a student assignment.

Cecilia Xu, Snow Globe Store APP

This APP is designed to customize, produce and buy your own special snow globe. Users can chose different globe element to constitute a complete globe and the APP enhance they to try various style.

Cecilia Xu, Let's Plant Together!

Plant together is an App game for both mobile and watch. In the game, children and parents would try to cultivate their plants cooperatively. The project is aiming to teach children about planting as they play and build close family relationships.

Cecilia Xu, HOGWARDS: Become a freshman

This is my AR project from Workshop. By using AR to create a magic experience, players will receive an admission letter of Hogwarts and begin their magic journey as a first-year student in the most famous magic school in the world. Creating an immersive and interactive AR experience is my goal.

Cecilia Xu, Tongsha Eco-Park APP

As the capstone project in my final semester, I created a convenient, interesting, and immersive mobile experience of the Tongsha Eco-Park for visitors by providing information and gamification. I explored the relationship between man and nature during the project and wish to help people to enjoy and engage in the park.
