With the emergence of steel and folding umbrellas, the status of Chinese oil-paper umbrellas is being replaced. Although people can still remember that oil-paper umbrella is one of the important symbols of traditional culture, few of them know its history. As time goes by, people's cognition of oil-paper umbrella also appears deviation. My design concept is that through an easy and intuitive way, let more people know the history and production of Chinese oil-paper umbrellas.
