Weiye Qian

My design principles are symmetry, modernity and gorgeous style. The benefits of using symmetry in design do not arise out of thin air; like many design principles, it stems from the Gestalt Principles, a theory of human behaviour that describes how the human mind structures and arranges visual data. Our minds naturally generate order from what we see. That's why symmetry is so powerful. A symmetrical design is an orderly and stable design, so it is easy on the eyes. Modern and ornate styles are my personal favorite, I think people are attracted to ornate things at first sight. Therefore, the value of the existence of the work is that the design works can be noticed by people at first sight.

Weiye Qian, Wagon Car

In 2022, the world still not safe, which has been jumped between good and bad situation.
We hope to make our lives inside and outside more convenient and secure through new ways and creations. We balance our time as creatively as possible. Faced with anxiety and turmoil, we hope to find flexible and comprehensive solutions to help consumers find the joy of life and travel in this turbulent environment.
1. Design a wagon car with multiple functions.
2. Probably everything they need is in the car, where users can have better drving / using experience.
3. Go back to your private space from work and take a break to relieve stress.
4. There is a more intelligent "mobile home".

Weiye Qian, HMI design

I mainly contributed to the system design of automotive HMI.
On the home page I use widgets of different sizes. I designed several main functions, weather, navigation, music, vehicle control status and driving mode selection. The main control area uses the top status bar and the bottom control bar. All page designs follow the same design language principles.

Weiye Qian, Remote control APP design

This APP design was contributed by team members Baowen Zhang and Laura Mao.
The main function of this APP is to control the vehicle remotely and check the current status of the vehicle.

Weiye Qian, Visual concept description

Icon and logo designs were contributed by Clancy Cheng.
As the main color of the whole project, blue is intended to allow users to gradually relax their nervous mood under the influence of the color, and have a brand new experience during the driving journey. At the same time, the icons are presented in the form of outlines and hooks, which can reduce the visual occlusion of users when clicking and using, and improve ease of use. The Application and HMI use the same style of icons, which can maintain the project well consistency and unity.

Weiye Qian, 3D model design

The 3D car model was contributed by Mason Wang.
The modelling part of wagon is to provide better display and application of interactive part. It has 6 seats and powered by pure electric, which could carry center control HMI, APP dashboard and backseat multimedia large screen.
