This is mainly about a collection of painting from Japan. The project needs us to make a book trailer using content from the book itself. I spent a lot of time cropping and put skeleton rigs on the characters to make them movable. Sometimes, i need to create new background on my own if necessary as it did not exist initially.

The infographic video aims to use data highlights and special effect to guide audience with information. While I'm always interested in Cyberpunk and high-tech style, I planned to add these elements into my work. With my own idea, I created a virtual trailor about YoYo Club in Monash University(There is no YoYo Club tho)

This is an product advertisement for a company called "Sayuna". I chose lemonade as the main product of this company and used Autodesk Maya to create water, liquid effects.

This is a logo animation based on the brand "Snake Production". The request of this task is to choose one animal as inspiration for symbol and create short animation for it. In the end, the tension and dynamic elements of snake attracted my attention.
Xinyu Chen, The Twilight Zone TV title
“The Twilight Zone” is a TV series created by Rod Serling. In this series of unsolved cases from 1959 to 1964, each episode tells the suspenseful and futuristic stories of various unsolved cases. Thanks to the original work, the design elements also refer to movie or game such as "House in the Woods" and "Dead Space". When using technology and adding cyber elements, I make progress together and match the fog scene to increase the supernatural atmosphere.
Xinyu Chen, Revenge with a Vengeance
The world outlook is in a warfare condition. All the cities turned into wasteland. The story is about a man revenge on enemy due to his partner was killed. Hence, the mood of this animation could be constrained. For the “Katana training” part from the animation, I drew about 300 hundredframes by using Wacom tablet. All the action and poses were simulated by using a real super moveable figure. The colours I chose for this animation are only black, red, blue, yellow and white to represent a gloomy storyline.
