Yiwei Sun, Logo of Photography Studio Wen
Two years age, as a partner for a start-up photography studio, one of my jobs is to create our logo and publicity materials. We use my partner's family name as the studio's name. The logo of the studio is in the shape of the Chinese character 'Wen' which is made up of the English letter 'w' 'e' 'n'. These two flyers shown here are used in opening promotions and special sales. The aim is to make our studio's personality stand out and keep the essential promotion information conspicuous. How to aline well the structure of the studio logo, images and letters is the most important part of the design process.
Yiwei Sun, Re-location
Project Re-location aims to support The Social Studio (TSS), a non-profit organization aiding refugees and immigrants in Australia. TSS intends to increase visibility and revenue by moving from their limited space in Collingwood Yard. To achieve this, the Re-location project proposes a trailer and adaptive units that can be configured into retail, educational, workshop, and kiosk spaces. The trailer features TSS branding and transforms into a table when unfolded, serving as a gathering space. Combined with the units, it creates a versatile and larger multifunctional area, providing TSS with expanded opportunities and enhanced public engagement.
