I am Zhaofeng Pang, graduated from Monash University with a major in Interaction Design. I have a passion for simple and clear design, just like my preference for simple and user-friendly products in everyday life. However, everyone goes through a process from complexity to simplicity. When we initially have needs, we tend to want everything, but it's only after obtaining them that we discover what is overly complicated and cumbersome. The same applies to design, which is why modifications and iterations are necessary.

Zhaofeng Pang, Music Festival App

This project is to redesign the brand identity (ID) system and guidelines document for the Australian Rainbow Serpent Festival. The task is to design a series of communication items and present them in a basic brand guide publication, showcasing a unified visual system that communicates the personality and essence of the Rainbow Serpent Festival brand.

The event poster showcases the festival's theme, which blends music, art, culture, and socializing. The bold text clearly indicates the name, date, and address of the event. The poster's depiction of the crowd is meant to foreshadow the festival's atmosphere, creating a space for participants to relax, create, and connect.

This project was to help a local business develop an app, and I chose a coffee shop as the subject. I designed the process, starting from logging in and placing a coffee order, all the way to completing the payment.
