Peng (Michael) Wang

My name is Peng Wang. I majored in Visual Communication Design with an option in Photography during my undergraduate studies. I majored in Multimedia Design at Monash for my master's in Monash. I also further started studying videography as an elective. My studies during the master's programme made me realise that 3D design and immersive visual interaction are the real future of design. I have worked on three design internships during my undergraduate and master's studies. I specialise in thinking and solving problems using design thinking.

Peng (Michael) Wang, 'Over Work'

In this animation, I focus on the problem of overtime work leading to death by overwork that is prevalent in society, especially in Southeast Asia. My target audience for this video is office workers who are trapped in overtime work. I want to remind them of their work's purpose and reject unjustified overtime.

Peng (Michael) Wang, 'Utopia-A VR Tourist of history and future'

This is a VR project. I wanted to create a more immersive environment for the audience through VR. I have embedded the introduction of historical content in my work and reflected the significant change between the past and the future through details such as sound and street furnishings.

Peng (Michael) Wang, 'Kaori by Jango-A Video and 3D Packaging Design for a Perfume'

This is a 3D CG project. For this project, I needed to design packaging for a fictional perfume brand and a social media advertising video.
