Mengfan(Joyce) Wang, Anti-Harassment Monash
This project stems from my personal experience as a Chinese international student at Monash University, navigating this issue. Like other minority student groups, Chinese international students have distinct cultural and social norms, which complicate the issue of sexual harassment.I have identified key points of intervention to assist other students in similar situations. These include a website redesign for the Monash sexual harassment module targeted at Chinese international students, as well as accompanying posters and flyers. There are several barriers to the existing information provided by Monash, such as English language proficiency, accessibility, relatable content, and way-finding.
