Yizhou Chen, PTV waistband
This project is designed for those who currently use PTV service in Melbourne, particular in international students. This project is a ductile waistband with an interactive screen where users are allowed to not only check their balance through single tap but also finish touch up more conveniently.
Yizhou Chen, E-novel app
The app is E-novel. The goals are to help people reduce screen time, spend more time on working and studying not on playing phones, sleep on time at night, find another healthy rest way, and try more listening rather than watching. The main goal is to control screen time. I want to create a relaxing and comfortable app for people can enjoy.
The new design concept is "Clean and Minimal". The app should have a clutter-free interface with a minimalistic design, allowing users to focus solely on the content they're reading. Also the app hides all unnecessary elements (e.g., navigation bars, ads, and notifications).
Yizhou Chen, Design for self-services technologies
This project is about the user experience of self-server technology in KFC kiosks. The challenges and issues are the absence of language options and poor navigation. I redesign the kfc kiosk interface, with new language choose page, clear icons and more logical navigation.
