As a fervent motion graphic designer, I find my passion in crafting narratives through 2D animation that pulsate with intense emotions and vibrant colors. My creative wellspring draws from the emotional tapestries woven within songs and stories, leading me to explore the rich tapestry of human experiences across diverse cultures and regions.

At the core of my design philosophy lies the art of experiencing and translating emotions. Before embarking on any project, I immerse myself in the annals of brands or cultures, allowing their histories and tales to seep into my creative consciousness. Liuli Yan, 'Whispers from the ice'

A 2D animated comic fusing hand-drawn artistry with 3D visual effects, "Whispers from the Ice" weaves a captivating tale around ancient air trapped in Antarctic ice cores. As human actions imperil the pristine Antarctic, nature's delicate balance unravels. Through stunning visuals and a poignant narrative, this animation implores viewers to heed the whispers echoing from the ice - a clarion call to protect Antarctica's fragile ecosystems. Blending entertainment with environmental advocacy, "Whispers from the Ice" inspires audiences to take action and safeguard this frozen frontier before it's too late.

Liuli Yan, 'I didn't speak up'

"Hope and Endurance" is a World War II-themed exhibition that aims to provide visitors with different perspectives on the war, ultimately instilling a sense of hope by the end.

I created a 2D animation inspired by the confessional poem by German Protestant pastor Martin Niemöller. The main character is a person wearing a paper bag hood, representing anyone who remained silent when they should have spoken up.

MelodyBrews is a contemporary range of non-alcoholic cocktails made from organic fruits, herbs, and spices, targeting a young, trendy audience in their 20s and 30s.

I designed the packaging for the cocktail to seamlessly blend the trendy musical genre with the vibrant atmosphere of a cocktail club, creating an exquisite fusion that allows the subtly blended mockabatta made from organic ingredients to harmonize with the pulsating beats of contemporary music. The selection of bold and lively colors has been meticulously chosen to deliver a sophisticated and invigorating drinking experience tailored specifically for a youthful and health-conscious clientele.
