Rushil Kakar
My work moves across architecture, storytelling, and spatial experimentation, often blending digital and physical media to evoke sensory impact. Whether designing disaster-resilient shelters, speculative interfaces, or surreal animations, I’m drawn to ideas that sit between order and chaos, silence and stimulation.
This collection reflects fragments of those explorations, across mediums, moods, and moments.
Feel free to explore, connect, and reach out.

Rushil Kakar, 'Kaito: The Japanese Ninja in Motion'
Set inside a traditional dojo, this short animation follows Kaito, a stealthy ninja through a dynamic sequence of movements. From high-intensity leaps to an interactive moment with his surroundings, the animation blends fluid walk-cycles, precise timing, and atmospheric lighting to bring the character to life.
Created using foundational 3D animation techniques, the piece explores character-driven storytelling through motion, environment, and detail; capturing both discipline and drama in under 15 seconds.
Rushil Kakar, GUARDA: A Future Phone Design Concept
Guarda is a future-forward phone concept that operates through your thoughts, no screen, no physical device in hand. A discreet neural chip processes cognitive signals, letting you interact through subtle gestures like a pinch, while projecting interfaces between your fingers or onto nearby surfaces.
This project brings together branding, product design, and visual storytelling to imagine what everyday communication could look like when technology blends seamlessly into the body and mind.
Rushil Kakar, 'Bauhaus Dreamscape: A Modern Tribute to Geometric Rhythm'
A contemporary reinterpretation of the Bauhaus movement, blending strict geometry, primary colors, and modern digital techniques into an abstract dreamscape. The scene combines primitive shapes, custom-modelled elements, and looping animations to form a rhythmic, immersive world where movement and form interact in harmony.
Designed through playful exploration of balance, materiality, and motion, this piece brings Bauhaus principles to life in a dynamic and tactile digital environment.
Rushil Kakar, ARCnest: Disaster-Resilient Shelter Design
In the wake of disaster, shelter is more than a structure, it’s a symbol of recovery and dignity. This project reimagines transitional housing through modular, disaster-sensitive shelters designed for displaced communities. Using local materials like bamboo, adobe, and thatch, the layout also incorporates communal spaces to support resilience and restore a sense of belonging.
The design process focused on cultural sensitivity, spatial efficiency, and simple construction methods, blending architectural thinking with compassion, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving.
Rushil Kakar, SAEF Antarctic Exhibition
An immersive experience designed to transport visitors into the climate-challenged future of Antarctica. The spatial narrative moves through zones like the Entry Portal, Biodiversity Lab, Extreme Events Simulation, and Decision Recap Room, each provoking reflection on our relationship with the planet.
The conceptual layout, interactive zones, and visual storytelling, aims to educate and engage people of all ages through spatial drama and playful design. This project explores how exhibitions can inform, move, and activate climate action.
Rushil Kakar, 'Balance in the Blaze'
This cinematic 3D composition brings together familiar objects in unexpected harmony, interacting in a surreal, symbolic environment. A subtle fire in the background, burning the edge of the guitar, hinting at the tension between destruction and creativity.
Composed and animated using Maya and After Effects, the project explores materiality, lighting, and real-time rendering to create a moody and atmospheric product showcase that blurs the line between realism and imagination.
